Arts Queensland Resources Update – issue 24 of 2014

Creative Partnerships Australia – Plus 1 Plus1 will allocate $1.75 million in matched funding for development/fundraising campaigns that will assist arts organisations attract new donors and grow stronger donor networks. Applications will open on 24 September 2014.

program participants will be selected by an assessment panel by January 2015, and all participants will need to be ready to roll out their fundraising campaigns between February and late May 2015. Project ideas could range from the implementation of an innovative fundraising strategy to attract new donors to a creative project designed to attract new private sector funding, or the investment in business systems to support long term development objectives. Access Arts Achievement Award

Access Arts Achievement Award is open to any Queensland artist, artsworker or producer with disability working in any artform. The Award-winner will be selected on the artistic merit, innovation and viability of their project proposal. Criteria and application forms for the $10,000 Access Arts Achievement Award will be available from Access Arts from 19 September and close on 18 October 2014. Asialink Arts Residencies

Applications are now open for the 2015 Asialink Arts Residencies. An Asialink Arts Residency grant of up to $12,000 for three months goes towards travel, living and project expenses, and affords recipients the opportunity for in-depth research, stimulating cultural exchanges, international collaboration and uninterrupted time for creativity. Individuals Fund

The Individuals Fund is now open and closing on 15 September 2014 for individual artists and cultural workers (emerging and established) to participate in transformational professional and career development opportunities.
