Arts Queensland – Projects and Programs Fund
The Projects and Programs Fund offers support towards projects and programs that create vibrant arts and cultural experiences for Queensland. Applications for up to $60 000 can be made at any time but must be received at least sixteen weeks prior to the project and program activity start date.
Australian Performing Arts Market
Brisbane Powerhouse is calling all performing artists and arts organisation from across Australia and New Zealand to apply for the official APAM 2016 program. Applications close 1 July 2015.
Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships
First awarded in 2011, the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships provide unrestricted grants of $160,000 over two years to individual artists, arts managers and thought leaders in the humanities. Specific outcomes for the Fellowships are not required. The two criteria used to select Fellows are: outstanding talent and exceptional courage. Applications close on 31 May 2015.
Ian Potter Foundation Grants
The Ian Potter Foundation is interested in building the calibre and capacity of arts organisations and supporting them to raise the bar of aspiration and achievement. It looks for well-considered programs that work strategically to achieve this. The Foundation also seeks to foster appreciation for the arts and facilitate accessibility for all Australians. Expressions of interest for the current round for funding over $50,000 close on 11 May 2015.
The Ian Potter Cultural Trust
The Ian Potter Cultural Trust aims encourage the pursuit of excellence. If you are an early career or emerging artist with an opportunity to further your professional development overseas, you may be eligible for a grant of up to $7,000. International professional development opportunities allow emerging or early-career artists to gain experience, develop networks and learn skills from the world’s best. Applications for project/travel after 4 September 2015 close on 12 May 2015.
Australia Council grants
Rounds of the 2015 Australia Council grants programs close on 2 June, 1 September and 1 December 2015 and potential applicants are encouraged to contact Australia Council to seek guidance on formulating your proposal. The funding categories are:
