Queensland Government’s 2016 Queensland Week Sponsorship Program

The Queensland Week Sponsorship Program encourages Queenslanders to celebrate Queensland Week in a way that reflects the unique culture, heritage and aspirations of their own community. Applications for sponsorship of up to $10,000 (exclusive of GST) are now being accepted for events being held to celebrate Queensland Week from 4 to 12 June 2016. Applications close 28 August 2015.

 

Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) – CATCH program

The Culture, Arts, Tourism & Community Heritage (CATCH) program was established in 2009 in response to the need for an independent and flexible source of funding to support worthwhile activities in the areas of culture, tourism, arts, history and heritage across rural, regional and remote Australia. The 2015 funding program will provide grants of up to $15,000, which is targeted at NSW, QLD and NT. Applications for the current round close on 10 July 2015.

 

APAM 2016

Are you an Australian or New Zealand based performing artist or arts organisation looking for national and international touring and development opportunities? Then apply now to showcase, pitch and promote your work as part of the official APAM 2016 program. As a successful applicant, you will have the unique opportunity to perform live to key presenters, agents and influencers from across Australia and overseas. Applications close Wednesday, 01 July 2015.

 

2015 Museums & Galleries Queensland Conference 

The 2015 M&G QLD Conference is a major professional development initiative dedicated to the volunteer and professional workers in the public gallery and museum sector. Being held at The Workshops Rail Museum in Ipswich, Queensland on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August 2015, the Conference will feature a range of keynote presentations, parallel sessions and workshops with presentations from galleries, museums, consultants and artists from state, national and international speakers.

 

2015 Resilient Australia Awards

The Resilient Australia Awards is a national program to recognise and promote initiatives which strengthen community disaster resilience across the nation. The awards are open to everyone—individuals; not for profit organisations; small and large businesses; local, state and territory governments; schools; education institutions; research bodies and emergency service agencies.

Applications are judged first at the state and territory level, and winners become finalists for the national judging. There is also a photography award for photos that communicate work in disaster resilience. Applications close 9 August 2015.

 

Australia Council grants

Australia Council 2015 grants programs are open. Rounds close on 1 September and 1 December 2015 and potential applicants are encouraged to contact Australia Council to seek guidance on formulating your proposal. The funding categories are:

  • Development Grants for Individuals and Groups – $5,000 – $25,000
  • Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups – $10,000 – $50,000
  • Arts Projects – Organisations – $10,000 to $150,000
