Cultural Champions
Culture Champions is a Queensland Government initiative that promotes the people who are growing and strengthening arts and culture in Queensland through their roles as makers, supporters, volunteers, partners, keepers, distributors and supporters of the arts. Do you know someone in your community or area who should be recognised as a Culture Champion but isn’t yet on the Wall of Fame?
Foundation for Regional Remote Renewal – Repair-Restore-Renew (RRR) 2013
The RRR 2013 program provides grants to support the medium-to-long term recovery of communities impacted by the bushfires, cyclones and floods in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland in 2013. $487,508 is available for granting across the 2013 disaster-affected regions. Grants from $100 to $15,000 will be provided to non-profit and community organisations based in, or working in, these disaster-affected communities. Applications close 1 August 2014.
Arts Law Centre of Australia – new resources for games developers
Arts Law have recently developed a suite of legal resources specifically for game developers. All the legal issues are covered from conception through to development, production and distribution. Australia Council information sessions Brisbane

Australia Council – Arts in Daily Life: Australian participation in the arts
Arts in Daily Life: Australian participation in the arts is an independent study commissioned by the Australia Council, which provides insight into how Australians participate in the arts today. It provides a comparison of shifting attitudes and behaviours by benchmarking the findings in 2013 against those from the original study in 2009.
