Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal – Small Grants for Rural Communities

FRRR Grants of up to $5,000 are available for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities in rural, regional or remote Australia. Priority is given to communities of 10,000 or fewer. Applicants must be not-for-profit community organisations with an ABN or incorporation certificate. Applications close 5 October 2015.

Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund

The Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund provides grants for Australia’s creators. Copyright Agency’s Board is authorised by Copyright Agency’s Constitution to allocate 1.5% of its income to development projects that will support the Australian publishing and visual arts industries. This is known as the Cultural Fund. The Cultural Fund is for organisations running projects which will have a broad cultural benefit. The priority for this fund is to support innovation in the Australian creative industries and to develop local and foreign markets for Australian works. Deadline for applications is 2 October 2015.

Tourism and Events Queensland – Queensland Destination Events Program

The Queensland Destination Events Program, formerly the Regional Development Program, seeks to leverage the crucial link between events and the destinations in which they are staged, extending the flow of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland. The QDEP offers two funding options for regional events:

• Destination Event funding – single year funding for developing events seeking growth ($10,000 – $25,000 per year)
• Significant Event funding – single year or up to three years of funding for events that can demonstrate a strong track record of growth or growth potential ($25,000 – $100,000 per year)

Applications close 30 October 2015

Brisbane’s Living Heritage Network’s Grants Info Session

Living Heritage Network presentations by Brisbane City Council, Arts Queensland and the Gambling Community Benefit Fund for heritage and history interested organisations and researchers on Wednesday 30 September 2015 at 10.30 am start to 12.30 am at MacArthur Museum Brisbane, Level 8 MacArthur Chambers, 201 Edward Street, Brisbane.

Australia Council – Four-Year Funding

Applications for Four-Year funding of between $75,000 and $300,000 close 1 December 2015 for arts organisations of significant regional, national or international standing. Organisations must demonstrate artistic achievement and ambition with a compelling five year strategic vision.

 Playing Australia: Regional Performing Arts Touring Fund

The Regional Performing Arts Touring program supports performing arts to reach regional and remote communities across Australia. Grants are available to support the net touring costs associated with a national tour. There is no limit on the amount that can be requested. Applicants are strongly encouraged to speak with an Australia Council Grants Officer before applying to this fund. Applications close 1 December 2015.
